Retail Theft from Wal-Mart
Police are seeking the identity of the a black male who entered the Wal-Mart located at 6520 Carlisle Pike on Thursday, 9/18/14, on or about 12:14pm. The suspect removed electronic merchandise from display, placed it into a shopping cart, and then walked out of the store without making payment. The suspect was seen departing in a modified import sedan, possibly gold in color.

DUI, Driving Under Suspension DUI Related
Daniel Casner was arrested for DUI when police observed him weaving while traveling on the roadway. Upon contact an odor of an alcoholic beverage was noted and he admitted to having 2 drinks. His license was also suspended for a previous DUI. He was transported to the booking center for a blood test and processing.
Police arrested Zacharey Reisinger of Lewisberry after they observed him fail to use his turn signal for a left turn and weaving in his lane. He was taken to the booking center where he submitted to a blood test and was processed.
Attempt to Identify
Police are attempting to identify this female teddy bear and return her to her owner. She was discovered by an officer on patrol in the 6600 block of Carlisle Pike in the southbound lane. She was found in a white plastic bag that also contained a sleeping bag, sheets and pillows. It is suspected that the teddy bear and other items may have fallen off of a passing vehicle on its way to or returning from a sleep over.
The teddy bear is currently in good spirits and is anxious to return home.

Retail Theft from Wal-Mart
On Thursday night 09/11/2014, at approximately 2037, the above pictured female walked into Walmart and stole a night vision trail camera and other items by concealing them in her purse. She proceeded to leave the store and get into a silver Hyundai, possibly an Accent, and sped off. On May 9th, 2014 Nancy Morales and Alan Badillo-Ramero entered WalMart and selected a television. They then switched the price tags on the set with a less expensive one. Morales then returned the following night and attempted to exchange the television for an even cheaper model. Throughout the investigation they were identified and charged. Morales has been charged with Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft by deception, Criminal Attempt, False Id to Law Enforcement and Unsworn Falsification. Ramero was charged with Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft by Deception and Criminal Attempt. Preliminary hearings have been scheduled in front of MDJ Silcox.
DUI, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Police were dispatch with the Fire Department and EMS, to Trindle Road & Locust Point Road for a crash. The driver, 26 year of John Sirianni of Dillsburg, lost control of his car as he crested the hill in the area of Locust Point Rd on Trindle Rd. He struck a concrete barrier at the location causing severe damage to his vehicle. He did attempt to flee the area on foot but was located after a brief search. He was arrested and transported to the booking center.
Fleeing & Eluding, DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Police received a call of a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and failed to stop when police attempted a traffic stop. Stop Sticks were deployed and safely brought the pursuit to an end. The subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Police also located drugs and drug paraphernalia that he threw out the window when stopped. The driver was identified as 32 year old Lucas Gates of Waynesboro. He was transported to the hospital where he submitted to a blood test.
Asset protection at WalMart observed Brandon Kepner, of Carlisle, removing items from packaging and concealing them. He left the store without paying for the items and was stopped by an employee. Once he was back inside the store he admitted that he also stole more merchandise on August 14. He was transported to the booking center for processing.
Defiant Trespass/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Underage Drinking
At about 0033 hours on 09/11/2014 police were dispatch to Cumberland Valley High School for a report of a custodian hearing footsteps on the roof of the school. Once officers arrived two men were caught climbing down from the roof at the rear of the school. The men were identified as Brendon Musselman and Alden Myers, both 18 years old. Drug paraphernalia was located inside of their vehicle and both men were under the influence of alcohol. They were both transported to Cumberland County Prison booking center for processing. Both are being charged with defiant trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking.
Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter, Reckless Endangering Another Person
Silver Spring Township Police have charged Roger Glines, of Lemoyne, with Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter & Reckless Endangering Another Person as a result of a crash that occurred October 5th, 2012 in the 7200 block of the Wertzville Road. The crash occurred when Glines' vehicle skidded into the path of a motorcycle that was operated by Bradley Ketrow of Elliottsburg. Mr. Ketrow died at the scene. The investigation revealed that Glines had activated his emergency brake to slow his car down. When he did this, it caused the vehicles back tires to skid and subsequently Glines lost control and his vehicle slid sideways into the path of the motorcycle. Glines was arraigned by MDJ Silcox.
On August 24th, the above pictured male walked into Walmart, removed a bicycle from the display and pushed it out of the store. Police believe this is the same male from August 2nd that did the same thing. The Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the male. In the morning of 08/26/2014 the above pictured male walked into Walmart and stole a laptop and packages of bagels by concealing them in a piece of luggage that was also stolen from the store and walking out of the door. The male arrived and departed in a Harrisburg City Cabs cab. Theft by Deception at Wal-Mart
On 8/01/14 a female, possibly hispanic, female entered the Wal-Mart located at 6520 Carlisle Pike and selected merchandise from display. She then took the merchanidse to the Customer Service counter and fraudulently returned the item for a gift card. The suspect was accompanied by a young female child and departed the scene in a black GMC SUV.

The Silver Spring Township Police Department is investigating a theft of around $1000 worth of prepaid phones from Wal-Mart that occurred on August 14th, 2014 around 0145 hours. The pictured male and the pictured female are wanted for questioning about the theft. Theft by Unlawful Taking
Silver Spring Twp Police are investigating the theft of a stool from Walmart. It was the stool that the Greeter normally utilizes while working near the entry/exit doors. The pictures show the suspect was with a female when the theft occurred. After leaving the store the male put it in the rear seat of what appears to be a silver/tan/or gold older model Honda Civic. Access Device Fraud
A Silver Spring Township resident reported unauthorized charges on her debit card. On Monday 3/31/14, around 06:24pm, the above pictured white male suspect (red hat) used a fraudulent PSECU Debit Card which was created using another person’s PSECU Debit Card Information. The suspect attempted to purchase items at the Home Depot in Lebanon but left when asked for ID. Around 6:40pm, the suspect then went to K-Mart in Lebanon and used the fraudulent PSECU Debit Card to purchase several gift cards.

Retail Theft From Wal-Mart
On Thursday 6/12/14, on or about 2:00 pm, Wal-Mart loss prevention staff observed an unidentified white female placing merchandise into her purse and then exit the store without making payment.

The above pictured suspect, Albed Colon-Ortiz, is wanted for questioning about a retail theft from Sally’s Boutique on 5/30/14 at approximately 05:55pm. On Friday, June 13th, at about 0130 hours the female suspect pictured above attempted to steal items, including multiple televisions, from Walmart at 6520 Carlisle Pike. A store associate interrupted the theft and stopped the suspect from taking some of the items. The female got into a white Ford Explorer SUV drievn by a white male and the two then fled the area. Retail Theft at Best Buy
On Friday, June 6th, 2014, a white male and a white female entered the Best Buy located at 6416 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA. The actors removed several hundred dollars worth of merchandise from its packaging and concealed it on their person. The actors then exited the store without making payment.

Theft By Taking
On Friday, May 9th, 2014, an employee at the Mechanicsburg Wal-Mart left his cell phone on the electronics display table while attending to a customer. On or about 1802 hours a white adolescent male and a black adolescent male removed the phone from the table and the white male concealed the phone in his pocket. Both males exited Walmart at 1808 hours.

Theft by Taking
On or about 1736 hours, a heavy-set white female is seen stopping at the Direct TV display at the Mechanicsburg Wal-Mart and removing a sales representative’s computer tablet from the display table. The female concealed the tablet on her person and continued shopping. After making other purchases the female exited the building on or about 1751 hours. This theft was committed in the presence of a juvenile.

Police need assistance to identify this suspect from a Retail Theft at Target. The suspect stole electronics and then got in the passengers seat of the vehicle shown and fled the store. The vehicle is likely a newer model Subaru Legacy Station wagon, it is green over silver in color and it may have an exhaust leak or loud exhaust. Thanks to the help of the public, the suspect was identified as Jeffrey L. Morret (59) of Dillsburg. Charges were filed against Morret for theft by unlawful taking.
Silver Spring Township Police Department is attempting to identify the above pictured male. On 4/19/14, the male suspect (pictured above) posed as a shopper by pushing an empty shopping cart around Giant. At approximately 1715hrs, the male suspect then stole a wallet from a female’s shopping cart while she wasn’t looking. The male then left the store with the wallet.

Silver Spring Township Police have been actively investigating the disappearance of Township resident Rabihan Seiders, 53 years of age resided with her husband at 100 Willow Mill Park Road. Seiders sometimes used her maiden name, Hasanova. Seiders can not be accounted for after the evening of March 27, 2012. Her last known whereabouts was in Silver Spring Township, Mechanicsburg, PA. It is believed that Seiders met with foul play.
